Multiple websites are reporting that the Samsung Note 8 Release Date will be announced in late August of 2017 and the actual device will be released in September and October of 2017. We even found 1 site (techradar.com) that heard that August 23rd, 2017 will be the actual date of the announcement.
You can be sure that Samsung wants everything to be right before releasing the newest Note Smartphone after the debacle that was the Note 7 (Exploding batteries, delays in recalling the device, releasing a new “fixed” model that was not actually fixed, and finally abandoning one of the most popular and highly anticipated smartphones of 2016). While it is unclear how much Samsung lost on the Note 7 but we know that it is in the multiple of billions of dollars US. Samsung cannot afford to have that happen with the Note 8.
PERHAPS THE MOST ANTICIPATED SMARTPHONE EVER!
The Samsung Note 8 is perhaps the most anticipated smart phone to ever be released. I would venture to say that it for sure will be the most anticipated Android smartphone in 2017. It dominated the press in 2016, and although the majority of the press was negative, the device was actually pretty amazing.
The Note 8 promises to be the hot phone to buy in 2017! After all, how many smartphones do you know that come with a “S Pen” ?
The Samsung Note phones are what are known as “Phablet’s“, basically a cross between a traditional smart phone and a tablet computer. It gets this nickname due to the size of it’s large screen.
SOME RUMORS OF THE SAMSUNG NOTE 8 FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS
It’s hard to keep the features of a major smart phone launch secret, especially when it’s one of the most popular smart phone lines in existence. Such is the case with the note 8. We are hearing from multiple sources that the Note 8 will:
#1, It will Be Very Expensive – Yes, not only will this phone be amazing, it will be amazingly expensive! The price is being pegged somewhere between $800 and $1,000 dollars US.
#2, It will Have A HUGE Screen – Many people thought the Note 8 screen would come in at around 5.7 inches, but we are now hearing that in fact the screen will be a whopping 6.2 inches (some are even speculating 6.3 or 6.4 inches).
#3, The Screen Will be HD with a 4K Resolution – so not only will the screen be Huge, it will also be super sharp. A lot of people are questioning why there would be a need for 4K resolution, but it appears that level of resolution is important to Samsung to make their VR Gear viewing experience the best it can be.
#4, The Screen will be QHD+ OLED display with minimal bezels – Taking after it’s brothers, the S8 and S8 Plus, it appears Samsung will carry this well received feature over into it’s newest Note phone as well.
The one thing we are not sure about yet is the location of the finger print scanner.
